These blind threaded inserts offer strong torque and pull out characteristics. Especially effective in sheet metal and other thin material. Insert is placed into the hole in the parent material and crimped up with the installation tool. Installs from one side - no tapping required. Installs almost flush eliminating the need for countersinking. Made from plated steel.

These threaded inserts can be used in blind or through hole applications. Can be used in almost any material over 2.38mm thick. As the insert is installed the threaded section is completely swaged into the sleeve portion of the hole, permitting them to be used with grade 8 screws. The installation hole size is determined by the density of the parent material. Can be pressed or otherwise compressed manually with a hammer for quick installation jobs in sheet material.
