Good corrosion resistance, widely used as an electrical conductor.

It should be noted that "Phosphor Bronze" is often used as a generic term for "Bronze". Be sure that you really need "Phosphor Bronze" before spending a lot of time trying to find this specialised material when standard LG2 may suffice. Actual phosphor bronze products are likely to be more expensive and more difficult to obtain than LG2.

The main difference is that a phosphor bronze contains more phosphorus and less lead. It should be noted that within the classification "phosphor bronze" there are many grades. Unless you have a specification that calls for a particular grade of phosphor bronze, you may be looking at a a generic specification for plain bronze.

See LG2 for a comparrison.
