DIN 3760 - General purpose grease and oil sealing. Note - metal cased and rubber cased seals may be interchanged at our discretion. If one or the other is specifically required please let us know when ordering.
Operating Temp. Range: -30oC to +90oC. The rubber elastomer outer covering tolerates thermal expansion as well as roughness in the housing bore. Excellent resistance to mineral oil based fluids, hydrocarbon fuels, greases and water. Not suitable for aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated hydrocarbons, brake fluid and some fire resistant hydraulic fluids. Full stainless steel bearing units are the best solution for hostile chemical washdown applications. All metal bearing insert components are a combination of 302, 304 and 440 stainless steel. Seals are silicone rubber. Grease is H-1 food grade.
Operating temperature minus 20 oC to +120 deg C. Solid 304 stainless housings have a machined base and extremely smooth surface finish, essential for demanding washdown installations. These housings do not experience flaking, cracking or discolouration and are virtually unaffected by scrapes. Bearings are removable. Food grade.

A 60o countersink is required for flush mounting. Use with plastics, light metal alloys or hard wood. Made from steel with zinc chromate finish.
