They replace steel coil springs in medium pressure applications involving space limitations, high blank holding pressure and adequate stripping. Durometer 95 shore A. Colour black. Tensile strength 5000 psi. Temperature range minus 40 to 80 oC.

Blue outer tyre 90A Durometer bonded to a hard brown 75D Durometer inner sleeve. This results in a hard anti friction bearing surface inside with a soft tyre outside. The roller can be cut and machined to suit your purposes. Testing for your application is recommended.

Mounting hole specifications will be supplied on request. These springs are usually mounted on a drum and the free end attached to a loading force like a counterbalance. Free ID may vary to meet load specification. Load capacity can be increased by using multiple strips in tandem, back to back or laminated. Be sure to leave at least 40mm coiled on the drum at full extension. The spring ID will wrap tightly on the drum so that most applications require no fastening to the drum.
