Drawbar springs have long steel loops that pass through the centre of the spring and hook around the opposite end, compressing the spring on loading.
This design helps prevent unexpected overloading and fracturing that can occur in standard extension springs by stopping and hold the load at the spring limit. The spring rate indicates the load required to pull out the first 25mm of the spring.

Mounting hole specifications will be supplied on request. These springs are usually mounted on a drum and the free end attached to a loading force like a counterbalance. Free ID may vary to meet load specification. Load capacity can be increased by using multiple strips in tandem, back to back or laminated. Be sure to leave at least 40mm coiled on the drum at full extension. The spring ID will wrap tightly on the drum so that most applications require no fastening to the drum.

Nuts Lock
Manufactured from A2 302/304 grade stainless steel. The standard Binx's entire locking action is contained within the nut body which is no thicker than a standard full nut. The ingenious design incorporates two opposing cantilever type springs which lock onto the bolt with inward and downward pressure. May be removed and placed repeatedly with minimum thread wear.
