Washers - Disc Spring - Flange Locking Type
Used under the nuts or bolt head in bolted flange joints that are subject to thermal or mechanical shock.
The discs deflect and move with the bolted joint. Helps to compensate for loosening that may develop preventing damage and leaks caused by thermal expansion, contraction and shock. Made from 17.7 PH Stainless Steel. Temperature range minus 220 to +300o Celsius. Load tolerance +/- 20% of load shown.

Not for constant spring forces or when high forces are needed. Provides flat spring characteristics and compensates for axial clearances and tolerances. Vibration dampening and noise reduction. Electrical and thermal insulation. Non magnetic - Polysorb(R) material.
