High capacity, square gib slides are ideal for precision machine tool applications.
The square gib design offers high load capacity and accuracy and withstands force in any direction. Gib is adjustable. Straight line accuracy 0.00254mm. Base is fabricated from A2 tool steel and hardened to Rc58-62. Saddle or riding portion of the slide is fabricated from low carbon steel and can be drilled, tapped and milled for mounting purposes. All slides feature Rulon bearing material for low friction. Stick-slip is virtually non existent as friction at startup and low speeds is virtually eliminated. No lubrication required. Rulon is practically inert to acids, bases and solvents making these slides a good choice for contaminated environments. Temp range minus 240 oC to +300 Deg C.
