These threaded inserts can be used in blind or through hole applications. Can be used in almost any material over 2.38mm thick. As the insert is installed the threaded section is completely swaged into the sleeve portion of the hole, permitting them to be used with grade 8 screws. The installation hole size is determined by the density of the parent material. Can be pressed or otherwise compressed manually with a hammer for quick installation jobs in sheet material. Pins - Ball Lock - Flanged Receptacles
Provide a permanent and proper mating hole for commercial and industrial type quick release ball lock pins.
Designed to be used on materials or in applications where the positive lock detent pin does not have anything to lock against. Pin does not protrude past the bottom of the receptacle so they are ideal for blind hole applications. 303 Stainless Steel. Mounted with screws, rivets or bolts. The quick release ball lock pins are inserted from the flanged end, and the ball extends into the wider opening at the top of the receptacle.
