Nuts - Aerotight
Aerotight is a Registered Trademark and can only be applied to goods manufactured by the Premier Screw and Repetition Company Limited. Any company infringing the registered trade mark may be liable to legal proceedings. Aerotight nuts should not be used on damaged or interrupted threads. When assembled on the screw at least two threads should protrude through the Aerotight nut. Advantages: Will not work loose. No other locking device needed.
Nuts - Quick Release
UNC
Carbon steel, black oxide finish. Button Thread nuts allow quick fixturing on long thread lengths. Simply press the button and the threads are disengaged to allow easy movement up or down the screw. Locknuts - Stainless Insert
Simplify the assembly and reduce costs involved in securing ball bearings. One piece item where the locking function is performed by a spring peened into the top of the nut.
Nut Body: Low Carbon Steel. Locking Insert: Stainless Steel Hardness HB 201-269. The spring bears on the flank of the shaft thread with force (P) generating reaction force (P’) in the screw threads with a resulting high friction torque (prevailing torque). Unique slim body design. Secure locking without keyway and tab washer. One piece construction reduces stock and allows simpler, quicker assembly. Simple infinite adjustment. Re-usable up to 100 times. Resists vibration and shock. Equally effective for rotation in either direction even with rapid reversals.

Material: Carbon Manganese Steel S300 Pb (11 SMn Pb37). If welding, difficulties may arise with bubbling due to sulphur content. To be used with screws:- LFM, LSM, LRH, LSRH (Single Start). Manual control - Low rotation speeds - For clamping or locking functions - For receiving dead weights. For power transmission and continuous use, always use bronze nuts, never steel. Nuts and screws should always be lubricated with grease or oil.

Cross Blocks - Heavy Duty - One Knob One Nut
Used for connecting two round rods at 90o.
Adjustments can be made by loosening the hand knob. Plastic knobs function independently for precise adjustment. Knobs have brass insert for easy turning and to prevent galling. Stainlesss steel eye bolt firmly clamps around adjusting rod for superior holding strength. Eyelet does not mar rod when tightened, resulting in smooth rod surface that easily slides through the cross block. No set screws required. Plastic or Stainless bodies accept 12.70 or 15.88mm rods.
