O-Rings - Nitrile Rubber
General purpose. Includes o-rings for dental handpiece applications.
Temperature Range: -30oC to +90oC. Nitrile: Excellent resistance to mineral oil based fluids, hydrocarbon fuels, greases and water. Not suitable for aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated hydrocarbons, brake fluid and some fire resistant hydraulic fluids.

Air hardening molybdenum, chromium, shock resisting. High impact strength with moderate wear resistance. 95 percent machinability. Requires heat treating to harden. Small diameters may not be perfectly straight. Refer engineering guides online for S-7 hardening requirements.
Oil Seals - Nitrile Rubber
DIN 3760 - General purpose grease and oil sealing. Note - metal cased and rubber cased seals may be interchanged at our discretion. If one or the other is specifically required please let us know when ordering.
Operating Temp. Range: -30oC to +90oC. The rubber elastomer outer covering tolerates thermal expansion as well as roughness in the housing bore. Excellent resistance to mineral oil based fluids, hydrocarbon fuels, greases and water. Not suitable for aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated hydrocarbons, brake fluid and some fire resistant hydraulic fluids.
Rod - Drill - Silversteel - W-1 Water Hardening
For punches dies and high strength machine parts. Unhardened - requires heat treatment.
High abrasion resistance and high toughness when hardened. 100 percent machinability. Requires heat treating to harden. Small diameters may not be perfectly straight. Refer engineering guides online for W-1 hardening requirements.
Tool Steel - 496 Oil Hardening - Flat Stock
General purpose tool steel with good wear resistance, durability and machinability
Dimensionally stable chromium, tungsten and vanadium electric furnace toolsteel can be used for intricate work. Low 787 to 815 oC (1450-1500 F) hardening range makes it easy to harden. Fully spheroidised and annealed for uniform carbide size and easy machining. Each piece is individually wrapped and clearly marked with size, analysis and correct hardness and tempering information. Edge squareness 0.003 mm per mm. Finish is 0.0008mm (0.000032 inch).

Low load, low speed applications requiring maximum corrosion resistance. Usual supply is unlubricated so that they can be used immediately in applications exposed to water, or lubricated by the user with their preferred grease. Special orders can be run with a selected lubricant. Note that some bearings may already be listed with grease.
