Marine, food and medical grade Stainless Steel - Non Hardenable. 316 stainless steel shields.
Tolerances differ from standard bearing types. Due to the tolerance range it is recommended that each actual bearing is measured to calculate fits. Stainless steel 316 cage, grade 200 type 316 stainless balls, 316 stainless races, 316 stainless steel shields. Rings machined from solid rod stock producing true running concentric bearings. Low load, low speed applications requiring maximum corrosion resistance. Usual supply is unlubricated so that they can be used immediately in applications exposed to water, or lubricated by the user with their preferred grease. Special orders can be run with a selected lubricant. Note that some bearings may already be listed with grease.

These bearings are designed so that when one ring turns, the other remains stationary. Some have a larger bore on one side allowing a shaft with no steps to pass through. Others will require a stepped shaft as they have the same bore on both races. Some have a reduced size OD on one race allowing it to sit into an unstepped housing bore, whilst others will require a stepped housing to allow one ring to rotate. Threaded inserts are screwed into preformed or predrilled holes and cut own threads into the wall of permanent installations.
Provides a strong wear and vibration resistant thread. Use of installation tool recommended. Low volumes can be installed by winding in with a bolt through the threaded centre. Large volumes can be installed with hand installation tools (Sold Seperately). Hole sizes are reference only. Can variey on batchs. Optimum hole size is to be determinded through experimentation. A 60o countersink is required for flush mounting. Use with plastics, light metal alloys or hard wood. Standard made from 303 stainless steel. Quantity orders can also be supplied in Brass or 316 Stainless.
