The square gib design offers high load capacity and accuracy and withstands force in any direction. Gib is adjustable. Straight line accuracy 0.00254mm. Base is fabricated from A2 tool steel and hardened to Rc58-62. Saddle or riding portion of the slide is fabricated from low carbon steel and can be drilled, tapped and milled for mounting purposes. Specific Gravity 1.60 g/cm3. Operating Temp 240 C short term / 200 C long term. Tensile Strength at 20 oC = 135 Mpa. Hardness 82 Shore D (DIN53505). Bushing bore tolerance is F10 after a H7 press fit. Tolerances listed in the tables are after assembly using H7 recommended fit.
