Springs - Compression - Conical
Conical 302 Stainless steel springs
Solid height lower than a standard compression spring due to the conical shape. Ends are closed. Starting rate is the same as the kg/mm rate.
Drawbar springs have long steel loops that pass through the centre of the spring and hook around the opposite end, compressing the spring on loading.
This design helps prevent unexpected overloading and fracturing that can occur in standard extension springs by stopping and hold the load at the spring limit. The spring rate indicates the load required to pull out the first 25mm of the spring.
