Solarbotics Kit 2 - Photopopper Photovore 4.2b
A very active solar powered robot. Educational build yourself kits.
Can cover up to a meter (3.3 feet) distance in under 2 minutes. Solar powered, light-sensing directional optics (eyes) and a pair of obstacle avoidance sensors. Directed phototropic or light-seeking behavior - traces outlines around shadows. The SolarSpeeder 1.1 is a very quick Solaroller. Educational build yourself kits.
Can cover 3 meters (10 feet) in under 40 seconds in direct sunlight. Uses the same updated Solarengine technology found in the PhotoPopper 4.2 Photovore. About 60 mm long when assembled.

Solarbotics Chips - Voltage Detectors
The Panasonic 1381 series of voltage detectors activate at preset voltage levels.
Versatile material for building robots because of its ability to glue well with epoxy and superglue.
Can be easily shaped by immersing in hot water and bending to your desired shape while it cools. Can be easily cut, drilled and threaded for screw fasteners. Do not use black Sintra with solar powered robots as it may get soft on hot days.
