What is the purpose of this page?
The internet has created a lot of hype about ABEC 3, ABEC 5, ABEC 7 and even ABEC 9 bearings being recommended for inline skates. The only people that are benefiting from this are the people selling the bearings. This FAQ guide is designed to set the record straight, to let you know the meanings of the terminology used in the bearing industry, and to let you know the correct intended use for high precision bearings.
